It’s back to school time in Boulder & everywhere again. For most people this coincides with the coming of Fall & the beginning of a new level of learning & activity for the whole family.

My Boulder Acupuncture office has been absolutely inundated with people being hit by the latest round of the winter flu. It is turning into a difficult beginning to winter this year for many.

Exercise & laughter = Moving your Qi can be fun & powerful

Probably the #1 issue I see in my Boulder Acupuncture practice is Qi stagnation, which basically stems most commonly from every day stress.

IT Band Syndrome - often called Runner’s Knee, is one of the most common sports repetitive injuries, especially in Boulder, where we are active year round. Acupuncture can be highly effective at treating IT Band Syndrome, & a dynamic alternative to the typical Cortisone shot given.

In Colorado, we have the opportunity to train & enjoy outdoor sports all year long. Some say Boulder is one of the nations athletic meccas, & I have to agree. In my practice I see individuals of all ages: some in college sports, others who have been athletic for 30 years, & inspirational ones who are 58 and training for their 1st Triathlon ever. Each of these athletes usually has their own training plan, nutritional needs, & often professional guidance to get them to their goals safely.
